Why Dye-Sublimation
Most mug printing complaints are about peeling and fading. Dye-sublimation eliminates both by fusing colour into the ceramic rather than coating the surface.
The dye bonds permanently into the ceramic glaze at high heat. The print is part of the mug not a sticker or surface coating that peels or chips over time.
≥ 300 DPI recommended for photo mugs at full coverage
Because the dye is fused into the ceramic, it survives the dishwasher cycle not just hand wash. No special care instructions needed for standard use.
Tested to 100+ wash cycles without visible print degradation
Dye-sublimation handles photography, gradients, and detailed artwork equally well. Colour range is broader than screen print or pad printing alternatives.
Accurate brand colour matching from supplied hex or Pantone reference

Questions
Yes dye-sublimation fuses the print into the ceramic glaze permanently. The image does not peel, chip, or fade under normal dishwasher use. This is not the same as a vinyl wrap or surface coating.
We recommend 300 DPI or higher at the intended print size. For a photo mug, a standard smartphone photo taken in good light is usually sufficient. We check your file before confirming the order and will tell you if there is a quality risk.
Standard production is 3 to 5 working days after proof approval. Tell us your event date upfront and we will confirm whether we can meet it before accepting the order.
Yes. Single-mug orders are accepted at a higher unit cost than bulk runs. We flag the per-unit difference so you can decide whether a larger quantity makes sense for your situation.
Send us your artwork and we confirm print quality, placement, and delivery before you commit. All quotes include VAT.
